PayPal Limited asking for supplier invoice
 

Hello,

One of my stealth accounts just got limited, and do not want to lose this one; need some help here.

Account (both eBay and PayPal) about 6 months old, all limits lifted on paypal, ebay has 3k limit. I sold an item for approx $140 sometime mid April and then a week ago I get an email from paypal that the buyer has filed chargeback for fraudulent usage of their card. They requested tracking information which I supplied. This morning I get a limited email and they want proof of supplier and proof of delivery for a bunch of other items I sold. I have tracking numbers for all my items but supplier invoice I am a bit confused. Without saying too much, I buy most of my electronics from big retail ( staples, newegg etc) and resell on eBay. Do i just upload a couple of the receipts/invoices that I received from staples and newegg for that particular item? Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for the reply. I just wondered with all I've been reading here; so they may call staples then? If so, would staples release any of my personal information to them? Wouldn't that be violating some kind of rule? I find it hard to believe PayPal would call them and say "Hey guy xxx ordered these items from you and we want information on these orders" and staples would actually accommodate their request. Oh well, guess I'll upload some invoices and hope for the best.

I doubt that Staples would give them your personal information. However, they might tell PayPal if the receipt is valid or not.

How do you re sell anything from Staples. They are overpriced to begin with.

I dont think they will question a receipt from staples but you can work on the date and other info. :rolleyes:

:) , there are ways believe me. You just have to be vigilant; the only problem with staples is that they can be like PayPal sometimes and put you on their blacklist :(. There have been times when my shipment would be halfway to my address and they would have it recalled.

Anyway will post an update once I hear back from "them".

staples, i am surprised as well, they are overpriced as hell.lol...but whatever works for you,,,no I doubt they will give any personal info..good luck!
