Does Paypal Call again?
 

I got a call to verify my phone number (tollfreeforwarding) yesterday.
But I wasnt home, and my brother told the paypal person that.

From your experience, will they call again? Or will they just leave it limited or send a postal confirmation (both are bad cause its a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address)

Paypal hasn't called to confirm my phone number ever... so I can't say on this. I'm the one usually calling Paypal...

HI: My experience has been, If paypal cannot reach you- they will then proceed to get address verification , via mailing the letter with the 4 digit code on it to you..

So now may be the time to call them and say what you gotta say to get that code.....
When you do phone them have all the info about the account and be careful of what phone
you use.

i haven't recieved a call yet by paypal and ive made a # of paypal accounts

block your number & call paypal and tell them to call you again...they removed my limitation when I did this 2 days ago.

Ebay can still see your number when you block it. Its been mentioned somewhere on the forum before. Someone called with a blocked #, and the PayPal rep said "This number you're calling from is not on your account, would you like to add it?" or something along those lines.

I can't verify that situation, but I CAN verify that my work was able to see blocked numbers.

After that botched call where I wasnt home, now my Paypal limitation has gone from "In review" to "Complete" (though its still limited)

Is that a good sign (will be unlimited soon?), A neutral sign (could be unlimited or they could call again) or Bad Sign (Soon they will send a letter)

If blocked calling doesnt work as per above, me calling them is not an option as the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ tollfreeforwarding number is in another city.

P.S If I *were* to call, what number should I be calling? Is there a list somewhere on the web or this forum? Ive never ever gotten through to a Paypal Rep (though Ive only called 3 times ever so far)

I setup a paypal account with my mothers info (all correct). They call her all the time! Asking her stupid questions about what types of products she is selling on ebay. She's even returned home after being out for the day and seen their name and number on her caller id. They never leave a message though. I've noticed that when she tells me that she sees that they've called when she was out that they don't call back again and then my account is limited.

I am not sure they can see the blocked number. I thought that if you hit *67 it prevents anyone from seeing it.....
