paypal troubles

One question that I can't seem to find answers for is if the PayPal account is linked to the eBay account?

What I mean is my PayPal account for limited (permanently) today because I had opened a PayPal account in China which got limited (with 9K UDS still in there). They linked my China PP account to my US account which has been active for more then 7 years because use the same email address (yes I know, stupid me).

Anyway, if I can open another PP account, can I link that to my eBay account so I can start selling again? Will the new PP account be linked to my other 2 limited accounts because of eBay?

Or will I need to start fresh and open a new eBay account AND a new PP account at the same time? My eBay account is 11 years old and have good ratings and good returning customers. Now I can't sell anything any more... what can I do????

you need to stay unlinked with fresh details

Just as I thought... I think I'm through with PayPal and eBay... not worth all the trouble. I made one little mistake months ago and they give me a life sentence. Not even real criminals get life for petty crimes. The items I were selling aren't even complete illegal. It's sort of in the gray area, and I sold one, ONE, before I was limited. Oh well. I just hope I can get my money back after the 180 days are up.

How are you selling that much on new accounts?

Well, they were "flash carts for Nintendo DS" Thousands of sites sell them and accept PayPal. These are things that can be use to store whatever you want, like a blank CD. I mean you can choose to put p songs on them, or you can put songs that you actually own. These carts can be used for homebrew or to play games that you already own...

The main thing is, they closed my China PayPal so ok, I don't do it any more. I learned my lesson and haven't sold any of those since. But 3 months after, they linked my China PayPal to my US PayPal and bam... locked. No warning, no probation. I called and they confirmed that it was because of my China PayPal account, which I still have 9.5k in there for 3 months now without any charge backs or refunds.

I was just talking to my friend about this and surely they must know about all these "stealth "accounts you all are opening. So more stealth accounts, they'll lock accounts even faster and with less and less valid reasons.

Honestly, how many of you would of "cleaned up" if they gave you a warning instead of just shutting you down and forced you to this website?

No, as stated above.

Using the SAME email address for two separate PP A/C was a fatal & fundamental flaw to the life of these PP A/C, a fact you now, no doubt fully appreciate. :faint:

Better luck next time around.
