Does PP take Military ID for SSN verification since it has SSN on it?

My dumb butt tried applying for a paypal debit card and they requested my SSN!!

This is only my guess, I would think they would accept it since it's a Federal issued form of ID.

When I was in the Navy I used my ID card for anything when it came to ID myself to anyone, even the police, it worked 100%.
