Paypal account limited

This is a first for me. Got a email on a aged Paypal which took in maybe 600 in payments over a months course stating it was permanently limited. I have no clue what went wrong and this is the first time for sure. :hail:

We recently noticed an issue with your account.

What's the problem?

Since this is a new account, we'd like some additional information to help
confirm your identity.

Case ID Number: PP-002-000-.................

Because of this issue, your account has been permanently limited. We
understand this may be frustrating and inconvenient but you'll still be
able to see your transaction history for a limited time.

You can get more details about your account limitation in the Resolution
Center. For more information, please contact us and we'll do our best to
help.

You'll be able to withdraw money from your account within 180 days. We'll
email you when it's available. We just want to make sure that you have
money in your account to cover any payment reversals.

Sincerely,
PayPal

Did they list any steps to complete to get the account back?

GreenBean 09-22-2012 06:17 PM

Do you mean a dear john letter without previous notice?

What did you read when you signed into the account?

Has there been 'activity in the last quarter of a negative nature :spy:

No steps, limited permanently.

Account is dead, no complaints or anything. no eBay payments either :nerd:

I never lose Paypal accounts unless done by others to attack me.

Guilt by association?

Gotcha ya.

IQ levels of some leave much to be desired.

Not sure what happened to be honest, no guilt from others. Only weak link that I can think of was the account having a pre paid card used as the bank, but all the withdrawals went through smooth including the last one just two days ago which normally get reversed by Paypal and that did not happen either.

I will not bother to try, they make no sense anyway. Time to make more accounts.......

It happened the same to me, but I had a previously frozen PayPal account with my eBay,so I figured they linked me

Since no steps there, call up pp - have had this e-mail too - sometimes they budge but most of the time, it`s over
