PayPal Account limited and eChecks What you should know!
 

Here's a new one for anyone who didn't know and should know now. If your PayPal account gets limited and you've purchased items on eBay with echecks before the account became limited all those echeck payments will get canceled and don't go back to your bank account.

They sit in your PayPal account. So I called PayPal today and they said in order to get the funds returned to my bank account that I would have to contact my bank's ACH department which stands for (American Clearing House) My bank which is in my own name is connected to my PayPal stealth account. Once my bank contacts PayPal what kind of information will PayPal require and will my bank's ACH department release any information about me directly?

Like who's bank account it belongs to for example first and last name in order to release the funds back to my bank account or will it be a smooth ride for the return of funds back to my bank account. I only want the amount cleared from echecks in the stealth PayPal account returned back to my bank. I understand the remaining amount can set in PayPal from 45 to 180 days. So would anyone know what a bank's ACH department provides to PayPal in order to release funds back to the bank account.

So I called PayPal again tonight and they said if anything call my bank and have my bank dispute the charges from all those eChecks now sitting in PayPal.

What if any does the bank share with PayPal when this type of dispute is filed? Would anyone even know? I would assume the person's name in dispute of the charges and the bank account related to the amounts.

What do you all think? The PayPal account is stealth and the bank account in my name.

I'm just hoping the get my money and I can wait the other 45 to 180 days for the remaining amount.

Sadly this topic is not even covered anywhere on this entire forum based on my observation. I guess the only way anyone will know is from someone else's failure?

Update: So I called my bank's ACH dept. And they said they don't share who's on the account only the amounts in dispute will be exposed. If true then good I hope since I will drain that account and wait out the rest for deposit via 45 days or more. Let's home for a win! :)
