MAIN real paypal Limited but i haven't used paypal to sell in over 3 years.
 

Today i logged in my legit PP account, I have been using it for 3 years to purchase things, 2 days ago i purchased a greendot moneypak and they wanted verification of SSN,etc... Tried and it didnt work so i decided to go to my PP account and add my SSN, Still didnt work! Next day i log in and they are giving me 12 days to send proof of ID or i will be restricted? I havent even had no more than $200 run across my PP this whole month! And i am under 18 so i cant really do anything? Any help is greatly appreciated.

P.S. I recommend for people to stop using the greendot money pak! It can raise a red flag...

Is it possible that adding your SS # alerted them to the fact that you were not 18 yet and raised the red flag. Adding an SS# either prompted them to verify it with the IRS at which point they would have been alerted to the fact that you were underage or allowed them to view public data like your DOB.

@fm888 - i dont think it was that...ssn doesnt right away give age of the person ...or birth year, does it?

Does a Social Security number show your age
