Paypal Got Limited For NO REASON?

Yesterday paypal limited my account and asked me to CHANGE PASSWORD AND SECURITY QUESTIONS.

But after doing that, they sent me an email saying APPEAL DENIED and I can withdraw funds after 180 days. And This limitation cannot be appealed.

paypal has glitches far too often. :pout:

Have you tried to contact them by phone to discuss this in depth?

Had anything been happening to the account B4 this happened?

If you call them, make sure you have all your info to prove you are you.

There's always a reason with PP. You may not know the reason but PP does.

On what possible and sensible grounds do you say this?

There is not enough details given to suggest that the OP must wait 180 days for funds.

You need to look better at the questions B4 making statements.

What if this is a problem that the OP could solve by a phone call instead of waiting 180 days because of your reply?

Be careful when you try to help

Welcome to the forums Sannah.

You have received a standard reply from pp about 180 days.

What you need to do now is call up pp and discuss with an agent. You MIGHT be able to get it through. Nothing is guaranteed though.

I had this happen about 7-8 months back - along the same lines. I called them up - agent went through it and got resolved. Best of luck.

one final assistance, please make sure you call them from the phone number you acct is registered to.(so as to not link yet another acct),,
Good Luck:)

One my accounts got limited when I tried to login using a different ip address and asked me to verify the location. It was not a permanent limitation. The best way is to ask it from a paypal agent. I doubt your account was manually reviewed.

xenix 12-29-2012 06:09 AM

@Sannah's problem is strange and PP has closed the account without giving him any chance to submit reasons.

If this was your stealth PayPal then their might be some IP conflict issues. Like you were loging from ABC country IP but when you login again theere might be some change of proxy or ip and you get login from XYZ country IP

This happens..
