Default Making Payments with full verified stealth account

Has anyone had any experience purchasing goods using a fully verified stealth account? By this I mean sending money to other paypal accounts via "goods" for actual merchandise. This is NOT through eBay in any way. Just purchasing stuff directly via PayPal.

How long/how much were you able to send through the "goods" option before you were limited? ballpark

(not sure if I put this thread in the right place)

1st question - are you looking to move money around to YOURSELF? Not a good option - could be linked. That being said, infrequently can be done but still not recommended. Goods work, Services work.

If using your account for PURCHASING, make sure whatever funds are there are nice and FREE of "holds" (feedback, tracking, etc.) I use a cc to make purchases

No the money would be to purchase actual goods, to other sellers PayPal account via "goods"- it wouldn't go through eBay.

The funds for purchasing would already be in the PayPal account and not held.

Anyone got any insight?

Majority of my transactions are from an account such as you described. I am purchasing, and am getting after postage at the delivery address, the items I ordered.

To name a few sites ( so that might help you):
Etsy purchases are stealth. I pay my suppliers with a stealth account.
Been the practise since late 2007
Jewelry & Findings companies: all suppliers are paid via stealth account.
(total of 5 companies here)
Been the practice since early 2008
All stock for 3 sites use three different stealth accounts to get supplies.
Last group has not been as long as the sites are newer.

Paypal accounts are split between USA & UK.
Since you are USA, here's what I did.

Made paypal, verified it with a proper bank account & confirmed same with VCC.
I am not going to say how much has gone thro' these accounts but they run well. They only do transactions to companies. They would have no more than 6 ( at the most) buyer transactions.(f that).
All are US business accounts which are companies

IF there is no shipment involved then I would recommend you to send funds to another PP account via "Services" Never select goods as PayPal will hold the funds and will ask you to supply invoince and shipment details...

A big headach

Send via Service and not from goods or personal payment

Services is just as bad.

Any sensible seller would have a variety of types of payments with a paypal account.

My reply was for obtaining goods. The OP was asking about actual merchandise.

From the sounds of it, you say you only want to PURCHASE from suppliers with this account...not sell on it. Is that correct? If so, you can purchase all you want. Now, selling on the same account you are purchasing from your supplier on...that is another story.

Bad idea, if you have a stealth account I would never send money directly so someone else. Weather it is a gift or anything else. Anything non eBay or website related is suspicious in their eyes.
