"Permanently Locked" is there ANY HOPE, or do I need to start over? - 10+YEARS ACCT
 

Hello all,
New to forum as I just came across you guys this evening.

I have a Paypal account that is in excess of 10 years old. Have used it on both ebay and as a method of sending and receiving payments and it was a Business Premier acct I believe. (Debit Card Said so).

5 months ago my account went into the negative (approx $40) for my losing a disputed redbox transaction.
About the same I had 2 major life events (Loss of Family Member, Extended Illness)
Unfortunately I did not take care of the Paypal Negative until a couple of weeks ago. (When I decided to look at and buy on ebay for the 1st time in a while).
I paid the Negative Balance and prior to paying was told by both the agent and his 'Supervisor' that my account would be restored in about 5 business days.
3 days after that, I recieve an email from Paypal with a verification of transaction. (Saying they recieved the $ )
I immediately attempted to login to my Paypal account, and found:

Account Permanently Locked @ $0 balance. (The information was logged, and any account info associated is blocked, or something similar)

MY QUESTION: Is there hope of resurecting the account? What do I do?

I have given all my real information, never did anything like not sending something to a buyer, and have run a decent amount of money thru the account over the past years. ie: $15-$25k per year or more.

Please help if you can.

so you found it was locked and you then did what? have you contacted paypal?

seems harsh for a small neg balance that was paid off but it is not unusual.

I think you should try to the max to get it back, contact them explain etc..you may or may not win....but if you do not, stay with the forum and learn to get back on again, there are legit ways of doing it, eg. business details....
