Will Paypal accounts be linked if using on my Website?

Hi all,

I sell my items under my sister's info (Ebay and using Paypal). I run my own website and use that current Paypal account to accpet payments from customers. I made a new Paypal account under my own name + diff address + diff IP address ETC. If I use my newly made Paypal account with my website and drop the current Paypal on there, will I be considered linked?

Hope someone knows the answer! Thank You

Yes, of course you will be linked.

So does this leave me out of options for using PayPal (my name) + my website? Last case scenario is that I use Authorize but I would rather use PayPal.

Get your OWN website - keep it separate - link can kill. Yes - go for Authorize.net

They have their own website - read the questions properly.

One solution for your website is to go with 2Checkout as your payment provider, this way your customers have the option to pay by PayPal and your site will not be linked.

True my initial comment on own website was wrong - but yes, if a new pp is added, there will be a link generated to the old pp. Whether that link is negative, depends on state of affairs

Using 2CO lowers your Conversion numbers. FACT!

Can it be used, yes, but sales will be lower.

Using Authorize will lower your conversion numbers. FACT!

I was offering a solution to accept PayPal without linking. FACT!

I agree, just pointing out that sales will go down. Didn't mean to imply you weren't correct.
