Limited 3 hours later after I refund somebody?

So I was limited after I refund somebody.

Old account more then 1 year
Made quick a few k in less then a month
No complaints
Shipped with tracking number some didn't have tracking yet
I have used the same ip for a long time for my account
No linkage whatsover
Now limited and they want it all even my balls. This happened after I refunded somebody 3 hours later. I think this is it?

Could this be it for refunding somebody or no?

Did you try to call ebay and explain the situation?

NO..................

I would say giving a refund did not cause the problem.

But then again, nothing, I mean nothing surprises me about that organization

Most likely you were linked.

Have you been selling on this account for the whole year?

Or was this "few thousand" sold in a month occur all at once on a old un-used account?

GhostWhoWalks 03-01-2013 05:50 AM

Maybe the item you sold was new and after a refund it raised a flag and then limited your account.

Why would I call ebay? This is outside ebay sales.

I think you have answered both your questions here... this is why you were limited.

1. Large amount of funds in a short period
(Account was unused for a long period).
2. Sales occured outside ebay - looks dodgy.

Also if you are a US Seller and you do not have Tax ID updated. A few thousand sales could trigger a PayPal limitation. If it is a legit account I would call them up.
