I need to send a small sum to a verified PayPal account for a one time transaction. I don't need the account after.

I was able to register a new account, add a card, and send money initially. Note: I made the transfer just after I created the account. I later get a notice saying the payment has been reversed. The account has been limited indefinitely and asking me to provide personal details to have it lifted.

I know I will have to create a new account again and use a different card.

How do I do things correctly this time?

Sending from one pp to another is risky unless you have experience doing so.

If they are both newer accounts then it will get caught.

Add bank account, confirm and send to pp.

Is it possible to send a small amount of money without being flagged as limited? I would appreciate advice from those who have done it successfully.

The reason PayPal specified for limiting the account seems completely arbitrary.

Part of your problems with this scenario is what IP you are using.

paypal detects proxies. Even our system here did.

What country paypal is involved with these transactions?

If you have a new account sending funds to another new account you will always get limited. It used to work great, now they are all over it!

A proxy was used but the IP address matched the account address.

Which proxy service did you use? I have successfully sent amounts across PP during my testing phase but never NEW accounts - I always wait for at least a month and ESTABLISH activity.

Cannot recommend you do this without experience with STEALTH

Only very experienced people can do this and most know never to send or receive money from a new pp account.

All new accounts activity are watched closely and if you start sending money to other pps you will lose both accounts.

Did you notice the OP has not been back to post in almost a month?

They have no reason to update anything.

The account is toast and hopefully they learned from the concrete advice that was given in the thread.

Was hoping for some kind of good resolution news but you are likely correct :(
