180 Day Limited Paypals-Not providing documents

Hi I have 2 limited Paypal accounts that are due to reach their 180 days on August 22 and I never provided any of the documents they asked for(Invoice, ID, etc)because I figured I would just wait out the 6 months. So my question is will my funds from the accounts be available after the 180 days or do the accounts have to be permanently limited first?

Bit late now.

Usually better to tell paypal you are not going to do anything about the documents.

Have you got your bank account still active AND phone numbers for each account?

They will release the funds.

I recently added a new bank account for one of them and I'm planning to do the same for the second. The only phone numbers on the account are the ones that came with it.

I hope you're right I would hate to think these 6 months were a complete waste. I should have asked this question back in February....

Every account that I ever have had limited always got released after 6 months. The only time that some money ($50) was still being held, I simply called them and they released it. I was happy I made that paypal account in a guys name. It was a womans, I would ask my sister to call them to release the last 50 bucks.

It is a great feeling when those 180 days are up and you finally get access to your funds. The two times I had this happen to me way back it felt like found money.

Over 99% of the time, you should have the funds in 180 days - all you can do is patiently wait. Hope not too big of an amount in lockdown

Hey just to update Both of my Paypal accounts are now able to be withdrawn as of 8/22 which was exactly 180 days. On one of the accounts I sent Paypal an email on Monday telling them that I wouldn't be sending in documents and to permanently limit my account which they did. I did nothing on the second account and the funds were still released so I guess it doesn't matter which type of limitation you receive you will still get the funds in 180 days.

Can vary according to the country's paypal. Not a given at all. It also does depend on the reason for limitation.

Good news for you.

They were U.S. Accounts and the Limitations were because they want me to provide more info. SS Card, Bank Statements, Invoices etc.
