Paypal has the worst customer service.
 

I sign up for paypal and sell my phone on ebay without issues. I get limited and I must provide Proof of delivery, invoices, and social security. I provide all 3. I only sell 1 phone on a new account. This was for a legit account. At the end of the day I get limited. Probably because I paid more for the phone then I sold it for, but I had no choice. Paypal has the worst execs working in there limitations department. Even if they work with risk its a terrible risk model they have.

Welcome to the club, you'll have to find ways around their system and live with it unfortunately.

So the phone you sold, you sold in on a new account? You said it was a legit account, does that mean limits were raised, feedback was established and the account was at least 90days?

A user here since July 13 2012 and we get a thread like this.

Stated repeatedly to not make such sales.

You contributed to the failure by thinking smart.

This is life when you use paypal.

You sold a phone on a brand new account? Legit account or not this is dangerous and advised against time and time again on the forum

Sometimes we need to think in terms of how Paypal views things. If I were Paypal, I would limit you too. Because I'm the big guy and I don't know if you're some new guy trying to scam me.

From Paypal's perspective...

1. Brand new account
2. Initial item is an expensive item

Let's limit him and ask for paperwork. Seems like a normal thought process from Paypal's perspective. :noidea:

Anyhow - I stopped complaining about PP ages ago - yes I prefer using OTHER processing services but, hey if you use PP and trying to make money, why bother complaining...learn the tricks and play the game well.

Lot of ppl have stated phones are a hassle to sell...you know this...if you want to keep selling, you need to find ways that work - pp is not reliable for hasslefree operations

After 100s of threads about what to sell and what not to sell with cell phones and electronics leading the way of items NOT TO SELL on a new account you would think someone would listen.
