Error on refund caused limitation
 

I am also very upset with Ebay, and Paypal they froze $1400 dollars of mine for 180 days because of a customer escalating a case that i tried to refund.And for some odd reason,not sure why?But my account at the time had 389.00 the refund was 180.00 no problem didnt want any complications.

So I hit refund,and it said your customer has been refunded blah blah blah.I go back to business as usual a few days and a thousand dollars later.He escalated the case saying,he never received his refund!!!!:deadhorse:

Ok no problem now I have 1400 in my account,I call paypal after the runaround of all time,I get your account has been limited!!!!!Apparently I had logged into my paypal via my cellphone I didnt have 389.00 i had 178.00.

I got the WRONG balance,SO THE TRANSACTION BOUNCED!!!!If i had known there was not enough money in the account I would have added more!!!

I would have got in a airplane and handed the guy his money on his doorstep,had I known this was going to happen..

I depend of Ebay as a primary source of income,this SUX!!

Now rent is due,and I'm stuck.I will have to go stealth to dig myself out of this MESS!!!

I love this forum,and im glad people here can relate to what I am going through

Yea, word to the wise. Try not to keep more in your paypal account than you can afford to lose.

lol i havent seen a post buy aking in awhile. i remember him when i first found this forum back in the day. lol same avatar he been had. yes I am grateful for all the great helpful people on this forum too.

Sad to hear of your situation but it has happened to quite a few with funds tied up in PP.

I hope you get it straightened up in terms of rent. For PP, moving forward, stealth is key to learn.

I have had this happen a few times. Wait until all the funds clear from the 21 day standard hold, resolve any claims that are made, THEN call paypal. Most times they will release the funds, if the first person refuses to ask for a supervisor, if they claim to want to verify your account say its already been closed and you dont want to go through the hassle. Call enough times and talk to enough supervisors and you WILL get your funds released. Done this on many stealth accounts.

Another good example of spreading your sales and reducing the risk. Spread them eggs around!

Good luck I believe proper advice has been given. However can you get account unlimited?

Never allow eb or pp to be your sole source ( or have total access to your money ) for your living expenses.

Unless of course you have plenty of backups you can use just in case.

Spreading sales over many accounts allows you to be able to never allow them to put you in this position.
