Better go stealth with both EB and PP?
 

Hi, I am brand new in here and a brand new suspended Ebay ex-user.
I write from Italy but I do not think it will make any difference for the question I have.
I had a very small businness as seller on Ebay and since a couple of weeks my (not stealth) accounts are blocked. I asked Ebay a way to get at least one account reinstated but there is no way. So I have decided to go stealth but I was wondering if it would be more wise to close my PayPal account as well and go stealth with both of them. I do not want to risk to have also my paypal account to be suspended if anything goes wrong with Ebay due to my inexperience.
Does this sounds good to you guys or is there is something I am missing?
Please let me know and thank you for your helpful forum... if only I would have known before...

Welcome to the forums.

Don't need to close the PP account - going stealth means OPENING new unlinked pp and eb combination.

What you are missing is the stealth guide and lots of reading to make sure you understand the process.

I would suggest you leave the paypal account open.

Make sure to not use it again on ebay. But you can use it for off ebay transactions.

This is something that works for many users.

You can make a ebay & paypal account in the same stealth details.

What is going on with your ebay? Is there anything we could help you fix or explain what to do?

Thank You all, but I have a few gray areas in what you are saying. My idea to close the PP account is to keep the integrity of my name, address, phone number etc etc... and not get my personal data being screwd up just because it is my first attempt in living a "stealth" life.

Having 2 PP accounts, one is my personal and the other the stealth one, would not lead to both being closed down and me banned forever (my REAL me) if anything goes wrong due to my noobiness?

I know here I will learn how to do it properly but since my name on PP is still "safe" why risk to be banned?

Just a precaution if you know what I mean and if I have explained it properly.

Greenie, my EB is blocked because I did not know anything about you guys and this forum... I underestimated their methods of cross checking data and I simply did something that, now I know, it should not be done... ever never. Lesson learned.
My idea is to set up both account with the same details even if I haven't everything clear on how some data could be ⊗⊗⊗⊗d up here in Italy. It might be easyer than in the rest of the world, usually it is like that.

If you have identified the link, there is a problem with both of them.

The point of having more than 1 PP account is to SPREAD sales and SPREAD risk...what do you do if it goes down? Then you have no other backups :mad2:

Thanks but my original question was if it would be more safe, for my privacy and my safety, forget about my REAL PP account (I would close it down) and go for a stealth one (or maybe two stealths) instead.
One day I can decide to go back to my real identity and re-join PP using my real data that has not been screwdup.

So, sorry, I must have mixed up more than one question in here...
basically I would like to have your opinion on 3 modus operandi with Paypal:

- is it better to mix real account with one (or more) stealth
- is it better to go stealth with all PP accounts
- doesn't make any difference

can you please specify pro e cons of the above options for my better understanding?

No mixing. Go stealth with ALL pp accounts.

Never mix your real info with anything stealth.

100% completely stealth info.

Keep all of this totally separate from each other.
