Paypal funds availability, based on feedback amount?
 

I've had a stealth paypal which has feedback of less than 5. Each time a payment is received it is held by Paypal until confirmation of delivery (like many others on this forum) Just wanted to know, does Paypal hold these funds based on amount of feedback? Or is it depending on the duration the account has been running? Thanks.

this is the 21 day hold.

it varies as to when exactly you will stop getting holds, but over 90 days and 10 transactions is a good guide.

getting feedback or adding tracking can help with funds availability, but reports on forum often say it makes no difference.

the way to handle it is prepare an account for 90 days, sell low priced stuff that you do not need the money for, until you see holds dropped, then you can start selling properly.....

A mixture of feedback, number of sales, length of account life, and even item being sold.

There is technically a minimal number of sales/$ amount after which holds are lifted but....holds can be reimposed at any time too

paypal holds the funds becasue your account has no credibility.

Loosely known as the 21 day hold.

Can go on being applied until paypal decides to not apply it. Then just as quickly, paypal will put the holds on again.
