Paypal account never used with ebay account
 

Hello all,
Great forum, first time poster.
I currently have a paypal account that I set up months ago as a backup. It has never been used or linked to any ebay account nor has the associated bank account. However the name and SS# are the same as a suspended ebay account and another paypal account that is still active.
My question is, by using this paypal account with a new ebay account can there be any association or linking that may cause suspension by contact info alone?

Yes, you will be linked.
If you use a PP account that has the same contact information that has been used with a suspended eBay account, you will be linked and the eBay account will be suspended.

Thanks for the reply Quasi Mojo. I have everything all set and ready to go with one exception, the paypal SS# issue. Im just attempting to sift through as much information as I can to get a new paypal account set up and the SS# issue is the sticking point as we have used both of our SS's on previous accounts. Although the guide is very thourough I cant find any solutions regarding the PP SS# issue other than a merchant account.
If you or anyone has any other solutions that has worked for you please post.

You might want to contact Modee. He's mentioned before that he knows of a way to delay PP asking for a SSN (indefinitely?)
