Limited - Verification Question
 

My PayPal is limited and the last step to get reinstated is to upload my ID, all information is my real info. The potential problem is that the address on my ID links back to a family members house that has indefinite seller restrictions. Will they check the address on the ID? The address on my PayPal account is my business address. Thanks in advance!

If they are knocking on your door and want to personally check yor ID document... then there is not much you can do.
If you have the chance (as you wrote) to make a digital copy of your ID an submit it uploading on the site... then there is room for something in between... a sort o make-up if you know what I mean.

I got you, i have been on the phone with them all day and have uploaded everything they wanted including supplier info, contacts, etc. Now all i need is to upload my Id and i'm good to go. Thanks bro

Well of previous family member was limited even by uploading the info it may still not get restored

I don't live there nor is the PayPal address associated with that address. I have a UPS mailbox and gave that address. The address on my ID is associated with the limited address, does PayPal check the address on the ID before restoring your account is what i'm wondering....

Read what I say carefully: the ID supplied matches the info of the account.
Anything else fails.

Well give it a shot. U have to send the info in now anyway

if an address is used it is often linkable


saying that I have had dif paypal names at same address before without an issue

You may well be okay. Paypal verification of documents is a fairly robotic process. They match the address on the utility bill to the account address and the name and date of birth on the ID are matched to the stealth details.

Whilst the address on the ID is an address of a previously suspended account, they will only spot this if a manual check of the address is done.

If really comes down to the intelligence and motivation of the paypal rep that reviews your documents so your chances of getting away with it are fairly good.

Thanks for your responses, guess i can go down to the DMV and get a new ID with my UPS address, will this work?

The rep i talked to wanted said i could call them immediately after uploading my ID so they could un limit it right then and there... Do you think they would manually check the address if i call? This is not a stealth account

as long as you give them the info the require you will be okay

if they want to see your id you should be ok

When did you become a USA paypal expert?

Please make an effort to not build up hopes of users when you yourself have limited knowledge of the topic.

Do you know for sure that the DMV will accept a USPS address for a driver's license? Your advise is off again

well he has been asked to upload id and if he cant get driving licence he can use another form of id, bottom line is he needs id and that was the original post about getting account up and running again

But that is so NOT what you told him.

He got told what to do to bypass the US system.
