Landline PP Confirmation Entering the Code on a Mobile not working??
 

Hey guys,

New day...new problem with paypal!

I bought a landline in my designated stealth address area to remove the limitation from my paypal account and when paypal call it's forwarded to mobile.
Now, I get the phone call without any problem however when I enter the code they tell me to enter and hang up...nothing happens. If I hang up and press continue paypal tells me that it's failed.

Does anyone have any idea of what's going on? If you think it's to do with the forwarding service please let me know and I'll name the service, but obviously for privacy from PP I'd rather not just yet.

You really need to name the service that you used.

Solved.

Localphone works if you use the internet phone application that localphone offers for free

Paypal is getting more restrict with VOIP services. Big disadvantages for people who are not in US/CA

Even in US getting rougher. Canada phone options are still decent

It's not as such a standard VOIP service... you buy a landline number (very cheap) and you have the option to route it to your mobile, the internet phone or a voicemail they provide.

So I wouldn't think it's detectable what service you're using to answer the phone. Either way it worked so worth using if you're looking for a UK landline.

I'm using some VOIP services for my over 100 accounts. Then I see some of those services couldn't receive SMS or call from Paypal. But the rest are still fine (so far). It's very hard to manage over 100 phone numbers for that number of accounts. So I have to use VOIP's API to code my own phone management application :)

Ive ran into the same issues, when i press confirm code it never comes
thats using the TEXTPlus app it also gives you a virtual number but PP not working
and never sends confirm....

Im ready for my 4th stealth ebay but the numbers game is getting tough seems like anyone know of any other apps that would work?

Just use Textplus and when u use the number in paypal label it as home and not mobile , by doing this u bypass the verification

And as for eBay Textplus will receive the code by text while Many other apps do not , so Textplus is working fine

A great way to make accounts, some days I'll make 15 accounts, and using a VOIP , is a great fast and free option, just remember when using it for paypal label it home number or work but not mobile and your gtg
