Getting past 500$ limitation
 

So heres my problem.

eBAY account has been going smoothly.

Friend gave all info for new acc, only info that is mine is debit card for paypal.
I have the 500$ monlthy withdrawal limit on paypal, i need to either add a Social or link my card to lift.

I use a debit card under my name, new saving account not associated with last savings that was
used for my "now" limited eBAY account which was deleted over a year ago.

If i add my friends social, will paypal see it is not the social being used for my debit card?

What should i do in this situation?

paypal can't see it but i would suggest don't enter social link or confirm it by your card.you look new to all this why to waste social unless you really know what you are up to.in future you might need real account for real business with paypal...

Well this new account is all over the road. You don't use friends, family for new accounts, you also don't mix and match with Debit Cards. To lift the $500 limit you have to add 2 things, a Bank and CC (or Debit), we don't recommend using SSN at all.

Here's what you need to do:
1. Go to a Walgreens, Store.....
2. Buy a Vanilla Visa "GIFT" Card
3. log into the vanilla Visa website and register the card to the zipcode of the new account
4. Add the card to Paypal
5. Verify the card with the $1.95 + 4 digit code

I would suggest you get the Ebay Stealth Ebook and learn to open/run Stealth Accounts properly. Using Friends, Family, Pets to open accounts is a bad idea all the way around.

My new savings account is linked to the paypal account, not my debit card.

So it was asking for me to either link a card or a SSN.

Your solution will work even if my Savings is linked to the account?

I have just re-read the Stealth Book recently.
It actually said that using a friend's or relative's particulars is a good idea.
Of course, if they don't need to have an eBay or Paypal account.

The book is a little out dated, but it is a nice start with key principles to get you on your way, the forum and through experience is the other half of learning stealth , which is an ongoing learning experience

It's good to always drop in here everyday , because the rules are always changing and we all gather here to share our experiences to keep us all a step ahead

And using a relative , friend is no longer the recommended procedure

Yes, that is why i used a friend.

So what should i do in my situation, will a visa card still work if my bank account is already linked to paypal?

My sis loves me she gets all my $23 giftcards as not worth my time to use them. All I ask of her is to return them when have zero balance for my collection. On using friends and family: Yes but if have common sense you know it better not too. One day they might need them.

You can not use another person's SSN and add it to your own debit card.

Should not even be using a bank card on accounts.

Okay, as i said only my "Bank Account" is linked with paypal.
As it says in the guide they cannot see whose name is on the bank account.
My "Debt card" which was given to me when i made that bank acc that i use to withdraw funds from it has not been linked to paypal. No "Card" has been linked to paypal, only the "Account" itself.



Now it is asking me for either a SSN or to link a card to my account to lift the $500 limit.

What should i do in that situation?

DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD
DO NOT USE YOUR SOCIAL OR ANYONE ELSE (especially anyone elses)

What MM78 told you to do is the absolute best solution. Instead of using your credit card, go to the store and buy a "Vanilla Visa Gift Card". Do not buy a "Pre-paid" card. You will use the "Vanilla Visa Gift Card" as a substitute for your credit card. They cannot verify your name and other info on the card, except for the zip code. When you register the "Vanilla Visa Gift Card" it will ask you for you zip code. Use the zip code from your stealth address.

Vanilla Visa is way. Wish companies stop demanding SSN legally only SSA should ask for it. If we stop giving it to others in mass it go back that way. Other countries give other numbers for credit USA could too.

My apologies, thank you for being so helpful. Now i use the name associated with my eBAY and paypal on the gift card, and not my own correct?

If you are using the "Vanilla Visa Gift Card" all you can enter is the zip code that is used for the stealth account

The only card i saw at CVS was "My vanilla Personal Re loadable prepaid card",

Says to go to myvanilladebitcard.com

Is this the incorrect card?

Dont use your friend's SSN - that's illegal and would not be wise to play with other ppl's info

Vanilla is most definitely NOT the best way. Maybe for new people with small options... Buy from a verified PP VCC seller here. Its much safer and higher quality. Think about it, PP knows virtually ALL of the pre-paid cards out there. The less known, the better.
