WAMU No Longer Exists

Chase Bank was given WAMU today by the Federal Government. Does anyone know how this affects trying to get a WAMU account now? Was going to open 3 new accounts today for PayPal. Anyone have suggestions as to other banks to use?

Chase
Bank of America
Wachovia
Wells Fargo

I had heard that the takeover was to be seamless.
Would it be foolish to assume that the internet sign up of new accounts would be unaffected? :confused:
