Paypal Limited Access Question....
 

So I got finally got hit with a Paypal Limited Access issue.
I know that I am going to have to walk away from this account.

They are wanting me to give them these items:
Confirm my SSN (yea right... LOL)
Set my credit check address (yea right... LOL)

They hit me with this on Sept 21st.
I have been dumping my account for $475 everyday since this limit was dropped on me.
I finally have it down to around $200

They Limited these items:
Ability to send or request money
Ability to close my account.

They did NOT Limit my ability to do these items:
Receive payments
Add funds by an electronic funds transfer
Withdraw funds from my account

Here is my question.....
How many days does it take between the time they dropped this limit on me (Sept 21) and the day they fully lock the account?
How many days do I have before they take away my ability to withdraw funds?
I do not know the time table here.
Anyone have a clue?
I have not had to deal with this in over a year.

I have no answers, but I was wondering if you had looked into enabling the Auto Sweep feature from Paypal?

I have thought about it but have now activated it on any of my accounts.

like i said before pp is limiting more accounts now, hell i cant even get two i accounts that i have right now to work with ebay. plus 15 feedback is not enough to sell more than one quantity. something new is going on

i been experimenting for a month now, i still get bad results

I currently have 9 Paypal accounts running at 100% and 1 that wants the SSN.
I am 99% sure that the 1 PP account got flagged because I had a better than expected weekend of sales.
My dollar volume pretty much tripled during 1 weekend.
I was not expecting it so I got caught by the "sudden increase of sales" red flag.

But PP is doing something different...
IE the delayed Expanded Use 4 digit number delay on my gift2go VISA gift cards.
There is now a 24 hour delay on receiving the 4 digit number.
I am sure there are other things that are changing that I have not discovered yet.

I had this same scenario happen to me about a year ago. I ran that account for about a month before it wouldn't let me withdraw any more. I'd run that account till the wheels fall off if I was you. Up your listings with eBay for maximum profits and all then when it shuts down stick them for the fees.

I was going to get Modee help for my PP account but then I figured I would just sit this one out.
I want to see the time table on this.
So I am going to run it into the ground.
I know it will get locked but I just hope the $$ is low when it does....

Today was exactly 1 month since PP placed the 1/2 limited access on 1 of my accounts.
PP still allowed me to receive funds and make withdraws.
So I ran the account REALLY hard this past month stopping its use 1.5 weeks ago.
I have been draining the account slowly for the past 1.5 weeks.
My last transfer cleared into my bank 6 days ago.

And then today.... Exactly 1 month later... POOF
TOTAL LIMITED ACCOUNT with $0.00 left in the account.

So just to let everyone know if you receive a 1/2 limited account it will be totally limited 1 month later if you do NOT provide the information that PP requests.
In my case it was a SSN and I could not provide that... LOL

I just found this thread, and I see you already have your answer. But I also have seen on many accounts (with only 1 exception) that the complete limitation occured on exactly the 30th day. You are correct. :-)

The first paypal account that I made after suspension, I used the link paypal feature on ebay to pay my ebay fees. I never received the 21 day hold on that account. On my most recent account I did not link my paypal account to ebay to pay the fees and I did receive the 21 day holds for a while until I got my feedback to 10 I believe. Maybe this information is helpful to someone out there.

This is very useful and interesting information to know. However, is this really a good place to post this information? Any Paypal spy who sees this post could report it, and suddenly withdrawing under 1/2 limitation will be a completely dead ability.

I was going to get you to help me out with this account if you remember my messages.
But I decided that in the end it was not worth it since the eBay account associated with had a few bad marks anyway. That is the main reason I just let it go.
It had nothing to do with your information or prices.
I will keep you in mind if I have a big issue that I can not fix on my own.

My account was limited 2 days after the 1/2 limitation.
