unique type of RESTORING paypal limitation
 

My new paypal account was limited and now asking for SSN and proof of delivery. Brand new account that received two payments. I told the agent I will ship and he said after proof of delivery my account will get completely restored but without the SSN it might be limited again when it comes to me clicking on the withdrawal button. So I asked him what can I use my account for if I potentially can't withdraw payment. He said I can use to send payments and buy things. Of course here is a possibility I can still withdraw without submitting my SSN but he isn't 100% sure.

Anyone had this type of account restoration? Basically not providing the SSN and having account be restored? I offered to provide my drivers license but they said it wasn't necessary. Just the proof of delivery but they can't guarantee I can withdraw the funds after account being restored even though the account will be completely restored :pout:.

Account is most likely dead at this point and the money will probably be held for the 180 stint.

They probably do not want you to refund which forces you to give the buyer a 'great transaction' so that they can keep their fees and gain interest.

If you CAN spend the money after its delivered, I suggest you do it ASAP on another account. :spy:

You mean send it to another account? Wouldn't that make the other account limited too?

Very VERY low chance of account restoration. Agents often say things that arent true - unless he provides it in WRITING...I would not believe it

Anyway, not sure what I want to do. Maybe I should refund the buyer.. or just wait out the 180days (worst case scenario)

If you didnt ship, refund.
If you did, wait out the 180 days.
