Paypal holding my funds..
 

Well pretty much i did a very large transaction (40K) I was able to withdraw roughly 29k but still have $9700 in my Paypal account. For some reason when i tried to withdraw the remaining $9700 they flagged my account and linked it to an old account. I provided Paypal with business info and the whole nine but to no avail. What happens after the 180 days? Will i be able to withdraw the money or will they continue to hold it since they linked it to an old account? mind you i did a transaction outside the realms of ebay. Any insight would be great

you should be able to withdraw after 180....keep an eye on email.

did you owe money on the linked acc?

That is a huge transaction to run through PP...for future purposes, could you explore other payment methods?

yes in 180 days your should be able to withdraw to your account, providing there are no charge backs.

Next time withdraw smaller amounts otherwise you will raise flags, because of money laundering.

You are going to need to watch paypal carefully here.

What was the status of that old account?

At least you may have to fight.

This Morning I woke up to a PayPal email stating that my account is being held until I send an invoice of how and where I acquired my items that are for sale on eBay. Supplier contact info, ect.. there’s more, but the hard part is i dont have an invoice or a supplier. Can someone help me.. (pm)would be best from here on. Def willing to return the favor.

You should be able to withdraw after 180 days but there are some known issues where users are having a hard time withdrawing after receiving PayPal email stating funds are available for withdrawal.

There is a back door to get those funds as of now but six months from now who could say if the method is abused like all other things on here.
