limited paypal, refund buyer, reinvoice via another paypal?
 

I know it's no good to send funds between Paypal accounts but what if one of my paypal with 2 payments got limited, can I refund the buyers, and have them send to another paypal? Or can Paypal pick up on that these two people got refunded and suddenly is paying the same amount to another paypal (That's completely not linked). Maybe I can change the amount? Any advice guys ? Thanks!

No PayPal wouldn't pick it up if everything is unlinked. (New user, ip etc..)
As long as everything is different and new on your new PayPal account it would be fine.

The difficult part is trying to get a buyer to pay again.

Dont risk paypal accounts with that method is my advice.

The buyers have already agreed to repay me. Just nervous doing it still.

Are you doing this through eBay?

How do you intend the buyers to pay? Sending them an invoice through PayPal or what?

Yes so my paypal 1 tied to ebay 1 got limited for receiving too much too fast (new account, my fault).

So, I have a paypal 2 that is completely separate / not linked at all that I can just invoice the buyers who paid me on paypal 1 on.

The buyers who paid me on paypal 1 that got limited already agreed to repay me on another paypal account. I told them I will wait a day or two to invoice them, so they can get refund back to their bank first before repaying. Should be no problem right?

You wont be able to invoice them through ebay though, only through the actual paypal account.

If you change your paypal email on ebay you will link the old and new paypal account and it will get limited to.

Yes I know.. I am definitely not going to change anything on Ebay. just re-invoice directly via Paypal

I know but the payment is rather large so I can't just forget about it :(.

Maybe if I change the amounts slightly and wait a few days to reinvoice it should be safer.

It will link the moment you mention the item number and listing on paypal invoice..
You ebay account is toast because your paypal account is toast.

If you want to risk losing the new paypal account then do it... but you going to have to start again from scratch anyway.

Yes going to throw away the ebay account linked to paypal account that got limited.

So want to hear another reason why paypal limits new sellers? I sold one item on Ebay got the payment on paypal which was held. Then I invoiced another customer (private sale someone I knew) for SAME amount as first Ebay item but totally different item and Paypal limited right after because they said it was suspicious I received the same amount from two different people. That's all. I didn't log on, try to withdraw or do anything after receiving the two payments. The only reason i got limited is bc the second payment $$ matched the first. This was confirmed by a supervisor.

What they asking you for on the limitation?

If it was a high value, it would stand to reason why you were limited.

My SSN which I can't provide. I have the Drivers License but they said no guarantees. Even if I submit my ID but not the SSN they may not be able to unlimit me. I am selling legit items - don't feel comfortable shipping if it's gonna be locked up for 180 days :(
