Paypal limited will release funds?

I just got limited on Paypal asking for supplie documents, ID, proof of address, social security, etc... Basically the whole nine yards.

My point is that there's no way I can provide all this. When I called I told him I couldn't supply the invoices for the items I was selling. He told me to provide everything including the invoices and they'll "see what we can do".

I asked them if I'll see my money (2K on hold), he didnt mention it or anything about the 180 days. Just "send all the docs and we'll see what we can do".

Should I call back and tell them I dont want to send them anything. Or should I just ignore everything and until they release funds after 180 days???

You shouldn't need to call in 180 days, it should just automatically release in PayPal for you to withdraw.

Ok thanks. I've heard stories of people not getting the withdraw after 180 days (saying you need to call and "remind them".)

But anyways I have no intention of sending anything, so I may have to take the hit and wait 180 days. Sucks too cause I needed that income.

Why don't you want to submit the docs and try save your account?

I would try to save it but the account I used was a stealth account. Plus they want social security number, photos, etc.. Don't have the time to deal with all that.

Yea that's a hard limitation when they ask for a social, no way around that, unless u can manage to talk them out of giving that info , sometimes if your persistent and get lucky with a rep, but looks like u will need to wait it out 180

NO!

If paypal does not offer the parting of the ways, there will not be an automatic release of funds

When should I expect it to recieve the "parting of ways" information? I just got the formal "we limited your account, Please provide blah blah" status.

Do you recommend me calling and ending my relationship w/Paypal? B/c there gonna ask about all that info I dont have.

Ugh. I had a limitation like this where they asked for all that and even asked for TWO proofs of Ssn! On a stealth of course. I submitted what I could. In the end, they ended up saying my appeal was denied and told me they would email me in soandso days when I could withdraw. They did however, backdate in a sense, and made the 180 days start from the first day I received the limitation on my account automatically. Actually, most of my limitations are "backdated" when my appeals have been denied. Not sure if it's just me though, because I heAr it's usually a different story where the 180 days starts the day they tell you.. So not sure.

Edit: if it's a stealth, I'm not sure if I personally would call. It seems if you just contact them even through their bot web forms like 3 times, your appeal will get auto denied lol but perhaps if you do call, you could just say you have no time for their bull because you got a spouse, 7 kids to feed, 4 grand kids, an uncle whos terminal, and a dog with one leg who you are helping to learn to "push" again (it's in wheelchair apparatus). Etc.

Same here.

I'll probably going to submit all kinds of crap to them. Then wait a few days about my status. By then hopefully they release my funds and auto ban me. If not then I'll call at the last resort. :rip:
