How to Confirm $1.95 CC charge with new PP layout?
 

Ok so I used the $1.95 CC confirmation method to get my CC added to my new stealth.

The CC was charged $1.95, and I got the letter from PP telling me to "Log in to your PP account and click Confirm Credit Card."

But when I log into PP... there's nowhere to click that says "Confirm Credit Card" with this new, horri-bad layout.

How do I confirm the 4-digit code that PP has charged onto my VCC?

Go to your settings and you should see the cc there

Wouldn't have poked around there without your info, thanks.

For further info - you need to go to Settings, then click "Wallet" and click the CC icon that says "ready to confirm"

I spent about 30 min trying my hardest to get back to the classic site when I seen this new layout. my goshhhhhhhhhhhhhh

When I click on "classic site" it doesn't do anything for me......maybe I'm the only one with that problem

The Business layout sucks too , when i click on switch to classic it doesn't do anything..

yes, that button doesn't change anything but show a single window of sale history in the older style. It does not revert the entire account to the old style whatsoever.

if anyone knows how to change it back permanently, please do share.

exactly... when you hit classic site at bottom it literally barely changes anything... guess I ll have to adjust to new layout:juggle:

Yeah Im also not a fan of the business template changes at all, much prefer the simpler classic version

Go to bottom left hand corner.

See how much you can send with paypal and it will take you to the withdraw section we are all used to seeing, click on it and it will take you to the area you need to ask it to verify your cc.

Some wont go back to the classic no matter what you do.

They have just hidden some things but they can be found by just messing around the site a bit.

PITA for sure.

You literally have to call them to get them to change it. I did that. Called their product and web support. He changed it on his end and i was back to classic mode. This is on a business account

I just hit that button, how much can you send with paypal, it takes you to the old looking spot where you can confirm and send etc.

yeah just click classic site and then logout. and log back in. works every time that new version pops up.

It's a paypal problem. Some are able to change back and some don't. For the ones who can't they will have to call and have it changed back. The new layout is a joke and colors are ugly. Some things are just better left simple.

I have half that let me switch to the classic and half that dont.

+1 on Sandy D's suggestion. Ive also had some accounts that didn't even show what Sandy is talking about - in those cases I have had to hit "withdraw to bank account" and were it shows "500.00 left this month" there is a link to lift limits which will bring you to verify CC.

Click see how much you can send with paypal then go to the wallet then go to the cc and click classic site then and u will see it

There is a button at the bottom that says "Classic Site". Doesn't take 30 minutes to find it.

Not all PayPals seem to have the option to revert back to the classic PayPal layout.

That seems odd - you mean in terms of .com vs .co.uk vs .ca?

Just in .com there are all different versions given to each user, and some have the option to switch others do not, and some are in classic mode already

Go to the classic view. I hate the new setting makes things so much harder.

I've notice that the switch to classic button only works if your account was in classic mode before the new layout. Then it can switch back. But if it's a new account the button doesn't work because there's nothing to switch back to!

Well this weekend was getting old design but now I getting new one on accounts just confirmed today. Wish they make up their minds. I hate the new everything takes so long as site slower than have to going around their maze.

Yup slower, not as informative, need more clicks to do simple things. What a pain, if it wasn't broke don't fix it.

On one of my new accts, I don't even have the option to lift limits. It almost seems that it is already lifted without the 1.95 charge. I think it could logically be verified on the first sale, because PayPal forces you to charge the first shipping label to your credit card, from there you have to already enter your cc information, then they charge you. If they do the 1.95 charge, that would be redundant I would think.

What do you guys think? It seems like some of my accts already has limits lifted.

Charge ahead the worst that will happen is you will get the normal limits and then you can lift them by verifying all your info.

I been making a few accounts a day, and I haven't seen any account that was charged automatically

Making a purchase won't prove that it's your card that's why just buying postage won't take the place of the test charge

The test charge gives a code that only the account owner has access to , so that's the only way to confirm the charge

Just go to the home screen on the new version where at the top it says what percentage ur at completion of the account , that page

Scroll down to the bottom and on your left at the bottom you will see a link something like " see your purchasing limits" or something like that

So bottom left hand side on the home page and that will lead u to the link

It is strange no 1.95 withdraws. > then asking for ss# dob if want to click add money to pp (are they joking lol )

I just want to confirm they have done away with the $1.95 thing? Because i cannot find a way to "confirm" the card i added....


edit nvm. comes up after you add a bank etc...

Just click MY WALLET > Classic site> My money > My debit card > Confirm paypal code
