My Address Is Blacklisted? Can I Wait It Out?
 

Hello Guys,

I had a lot of stealth PayPal accounts one of my accounts got limited then I checked on the other and they all got limited. I've done some research and I see that the shipping address is what ties all the accounts together.

Now I tried to make a purchase from a clean account and tried to have the item shipped to my address but the account got limited after I attempted to make the payment. This is two days after my accounts got limited

It seems that my address as been blacklisted.

Question is there a certain time period before I can start making new accounts and having them shipped to my address or and I am done forever?

That address is on their records forever. You can make a buyer's account, just never a seller's account with that address.

81% longevity here. How have you not learned this after being on the forum for so long?

I have buyer accounts ship to my banned address no problem.

Oh that's interesting.. you're in the beginning stages of stealth knowledge. While we generally don't cater towards buyer issues, I think the eBay Stealth guide would be useful for you. Give it a read.. it will show you step-by-step how to create a new stealth account without being linked and shut down again.

@aspkin Hey I read the stealth guide back in 2009 lol when I first signed up here. I just I needed to know if I was able to ever have things shipped to my address again due to PayPal blacklisting my address.

The problem with PP blacklisting an address is the moment you use it, your account may get suspended.

You can rent a PO box or UPS box and use that as delivery address. This will solve it.

When you say "clean account" (and just to clarify), you never used the credit card before? phone number either? New user account?

Please be careful of address being re-used.

Much is going to depend on the reason for the first suspension If you really hacked off ebay/paypal, you have a risk of issues with a new buyer account.

Just be aware this might happen.

very true and be careful with trying to alter addresses. that too will cause issues. use real home addresses.

@SaiJin a lot of sellers dont ship to PO boxes.

@Rsot when I say clean account I mean never been used just opened.

@GreenBean I have to reuse thats my home address I have no other address I can use. And most seller don't ship to PO boxes.

@Keepongoing I am using my home address.

When I sign up for the accounts I never sign up with my home address its once I get ready to buy something off eBay. I have to use my home address. All the accounts I had were seller/business accounts but I will try buyer/personal accounts and hope that works.

I am going to try to have orders sent to my address using a buyer account and see what happens hopefully it doesn't get instantly limited like my other accounts.

If anyone else has a blacklisted address and still have items shipped to that address? let me know how please thanks a lot.

Newsflash....mailmen are not stupid (always).

YOu can funny-up your address to something that a mailman can figure out but will not show in your PP. For example, if you live at 1234 E. Oldtown Rd you can make your addy 1234(1st Floor) Olde Towne Road East. Might work. What does it matter so much for a seller account anyway. Unless you have a lot of returns which is another problem altogether.

Send yourself a piece of mail to see if your item actually makes it to your real address.

I can use either Buyer or Seller account I will be fine. I just need to have items shipped to my address

for a buyer acc, you can do a variation of your real address.

if you have a house, give it a name or business plate instead as alternative to number.

or a simple ones s like, put door number in brackets or some other tweak, I am not giving out too many ideas here though.....

it works, not guaranteed, but tested as working....

do not be tempted to turn it in to a seller acc, as buyer accs get strong feedback and they email you saying, 'how about selling?' etc etc....I did that once and it lasted a couple of years but then got linked when looked at manually after a small transgression.....buyer accs are handy, I dont know how I would survive if I was truely banned from buying from ebay......so much on that site you cannot get elsewhere...

No I am not banned from buying on eBay I believe my home address is blacklist by PayPal because I had multiple accounts all with different info (Name, IP etc..) But I had items from each account shipped to the same address. All the accounts got limited.

The only thing that ties them together is the shipping address.

And I tried to make payment for an item on eBay with a new account and once I tried to make the payment via PayPal & have the item shipped to my address the account was instantly limited.

well they are not exactly the same thing but in practicality they are......being banned from paypal means being banned from buying from ebay...you want to use paypal to pay right....but there are ways as mentioned...

Paypal uses avs and also verifies addresses are real. You create an account with a non real address most likely it will get limited and paypal will want you to update the info on the account.

I just a had another account get instantly limited after trying to make a payment on eBay. This time I misspelled my name and changed my address up. Also this was an buyer account.

Any ideas?

Sounds like the varying up the address contributed to the failure.

Hun,that stopped working last year. Both ebay/paypal seem much stricter now. Try to ignore the suggestions of doing this. It is now poor info

Can you consider a PO Box.

Ok but I need to be able to receive big packages and also I hear PO boxes don't accept shipments from FedEx, UPS etc...

Also can I still use my real name? (I mean I will have to when I open the PO box but I mean wont paypal still limit me)

I wonder if I tried to make purchase on another website aside from eBay will it go though using PayPal or will I get limited instantly again what you guys think?

does paypal flag ALL addresses linked to your account, or just the primary?

always give a cool down period, start a new account and build history with a variation of your address.. I have done this several times over with no issues, just don't abuse Paypal too much or they will nail you every time. Another option for you is to rent a UPS box at a UPS Store, even a Postal box would work if you do not expect to receive really large parcels.

I havent had any luck buying.

I wish someone would post a way....

Even as a guest, paypal will not let the charge go though. I guess if I really wanted a buying account I could get a UPS box...but screw ebay. Its there lost and if they want to limit my buying too, then ill just take it to amazon.

I'd let the account cool for 3-4 weeks if I were you. But usually I let it go for even 2 months.

THere really isn't a formula, but the longer, the safer I usually feel

You leave an account being made with a previously suspended address for 3-4 weeks or longer?

You have no concerns about re-using banned info>

There is no advised cool down period for an account with an account with a banned address...using it even down the road CAN lead to suspension at any time.

Keep that in mind and plan accordingly...

I would never reuse exact same name and address again.

I left a year before re-use and it worked for buying.......until then I used my box.

boxes usually accept fedex etc, here they do anyway......

do different name or change door number to different location, I wont post best ideas here... but an example would be in the house name/door number area put 'side door' and then put door number in address/st line....a bot wont find it at least.
