Can money be released after 45 days?
 

I just spoke with a PP representative over the phone and they said that this might be possible. My account just got limited, but the payments I received were all paypal to paypal transfers, which can only be refunded up to 45 days. Therefore, I might be able to withdraw my money after 45 days instead of 180.

What do you guys think?

yes you paypal account will be limited for 180 days BUT sometimes they let you off with withdrawing the money within 45 days. Now you can only withdraw to a bank account (note: once you input a bank account you won't be able to remove it unless you provide documents to make your paypal in good standing again) or by check (you will need to have access to the address on the account).

While rare (compared to waiting the full 180 days), it is possible. However you would only know in 45 days...you could try and see then.

Depends which type of email you received upon permanent limitation? Did they say they would review every 45 days?

They could be leading you up the garden path...

sometimes they do allow 45 day withdrawals. But it usually requires you to call in and explain your case.:ranger:

Or, at the time of limitation they may infer funds might be considered for release.

Each account differs.

If you call and complain enough, at the very least they will let you withdraw a certain % of the funds such as 75%, but most of the times they will let you have it all early.

Just out of curiosity, since when do they allow withdrawal within 45 days?

It's just so out of character that they'd be a tad "lenient"

Been posted on here quite a few times before, SaiJin.

Depending on the circumstances, paypal has gone as far to indicate to limited sellers the funds may be released earlier than usual.

UK paypal has done this.

USA paypal has always done the same.

30 day release for me on UK PayPal. £60 kept in held funds but a £500 release at the end of July.
