Paypal asking for tax information.
 

eBAY account has been going smoothly.
Not going over $900 a month. (I wont ever be selling more than this a month)
eBAY is using friends name and address.
Paypal is in their name, linked to my bank account.
Confirmed using a gift card.

Paypal is asking for the 20,000/200
And is asking what my TAX ID number is when i pay my taxes.

Options are:

-I use my Social Security Number
-Employer Identification Number (Says if i use this they will ask me to upgrade to a "Business Account")
-Individual Tax Identification Number

What should i do?

hi dont give them ur SSN

get a EIN

Should not be using a friends details. It can lead to some real issues later on.

What kind of issues?

It was suggested in the guide, is the reason i made the account.

The guide says that i should use my friends SSN.

But that if i wanted to use an EIN that i shouldve made the paypal name under a LLC business name.

Okay, would i be able to use an EIN if the name under the paypal is not a LLC name?
