not able to withdraw from limited paypal accounts after 180 days in spite of emails
 

Hi,

I had several stealth greek paypal accounts. They are limited and have around 400-1500 euros in them. I got email that funds are available, but when i added my US banks here, which have not even been associated with any paypal. I got the error message that i could not add bank at this time. Can anyone please advise? Has paypal tightened up with new security to torture us?

Need more details.
What bank are you using?
Is it possible to have a greek paypal with a USA bank?

You may need to ring to have them manually add the US bank account to the Greek PayPal.

How were you getting money out of the accounts before?

I called them several times, each time the rep said something different. The rep said I can always add a US bank account. She said the problem that I was using VPN -- I was using amazon instances. Then I used a physical computer in Greece to add my BOA account and Citi account. None went through. One rep said i need to provide them with ID and etc. Can this be the case?

In 2012, I added my bank accounts to limited US paypal account with no problem, and the bank account was used before.

Before the paypal was limited, i sent the money to another paypal to cash out.

That often fails and causes limitations.


Big changes happened with bank accounts when associated with limited paypals.

Try another rep to add the bank account manually.

Just a word of warning.... they may ask for ID.

I found out having this problem no matter what with the new interface. Try going to add bank then classic site bottom left then add bank and see if it goes through

Thanks for the tips. Managed to withdraw for one account after adding a greek bank account. Will find out whether US bank accounts work or not by calling them.
