Paypal limited indefinitely

I've had many issues with ebay before but this is a new one.

My paypal account has been banned "indefinitely." No reason given (why would they give one?)

Its a 2 year old stealth account.

I only use the account to sell on ebay. I don't understand why ebay and paypal are both going at me if they are the same company. If there is a problem with an ebay listing why isn't ebay getting involved?

Anyway the ebay account is live but with no paypal account linked

Can I create another stealth paypal account to continue using this ebay account? Would the name not have to match the ebay users?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cannot add a new PayPal to a eBay that is already linked to a banned PayPal.

Need to start again :thumb:

Becuase the new PP will get linked to the old PP and will also get limited.

Will it still get limited on a new user account, fresh ip address, etc? Just by the fact the payments are coming in from the same ebay account?

It will get limited because it is linked to the same eBay.

It is just not possible.

Try it and report back how it worked. Then you will know for sure.

Thanks for the help.

I may try it just to see if i can get a few payments in.

The ebay account was top rated silver powerseller about a month ago.

Its just going to be a waste of time and a waste of a bank account.

It may work for a couple of weeks, but it will get limited soon after.

The time you spend trying to save that eBay, could be spent setting up another 5 accounts.

That is the way I see it these days. I dont even flinch when a seller of mine with good size limits runs into a problem. I just move them onto 10 new accounts lol

Yes - chances are high that it will get limited - nothing is 100% but it can be limited.

What reason do you think caused limitation of your first pp? Items sold...category?

No idea, the ebay account was above standard across the board apart from on US where it was below standard with .03% too many cases opened or some BS.

The new paypal account has received 2 payments so far lol. seems to be working, but unlikely to be for long i am sure.

I want to keep it going even for a month would help as my other accounts don't have many listings, can anyone help on this separate topic here?

thanks again for all the help.

Re: Paypal limited indefinitely

For anyone that might be interested, since I set up a new stealth paypal and began connecting to my ebay account on a new user with a new IP my ebay account has not been shut down, and nor has the new paypal account (yet at least)

In fact i called ebay and got them to increase my seller allowances by almost 50%

I also logged back on to the suspended paypal account so i could withdraw the money, after the 60 day freeze and to my suprise I appear to be able to use it again and have received a couple of payments. Which is wierd because it definitely said my account was closed indefinitely.

That is all highly irregular.

Don't try it, your new Paypal account will be limited soon, i've one which got limit too, when your paypal account limited, your eBay account is still working then leave them behide and create new Paypal + Ebay. Otherwise you waste your time.
