Paypal asking for EIN. Ebay not affected
 

Hey everyone. So i've had paypal ask for an EIN/SSN since i have reached my selling limit for this year. I have sold over 201 items and i still haven't provided them an EIN for almost a month and a half. I thought my ebay will be limited since paypal is asking for an EIN but my ebay is still stable and i can still sell 100/5000 a month but i haven't sold anything yet. My question is that, is my ebay still useable? Could i still sell on it but with a different paypal account? I need help guys.

Adding another Paypal account won't solve your problem. If anything, it'll make it worse once Paypal realizes you're trying to avoid giving tax ID information. It's pretty easy to get an EIN from the IRS and then you'll be all set. Or start selling on other accounts to avoid ever getting near 200/$20,000.

Cannot just link in a new PayPal

Best thing to do is supply PP with an EIN

Get an EIN.

Not feasible to attach another paypal.
