paypal link question
 

So about 7 years ago a friend asked me if he could open a paypal account using my email and i said yes..... we never used that account and it has the same address....
i have a premier account which is fully verified for 10 years in which i have a balance of 18,000usd at the moment and i spend around 3,500usd a month
So about 3 weeks ago i receive this email saying that someone tried to login to my account(my email but friends name) from an unusual location and we have to change passwords and security questions.
This is panicking me since i have not seen my friend and i am planning of making 2 big expenses this month, one for 2,700usd and one for 2,200usd and im worried if i do nothing in the account under my friends name i might have my account frozen for 180 days.... paypal has not frozen the account under his name but only asked to change sec questions and password and balace is zero with no transactions ever done and for years i never even tried to login to this account.... what should i do or should i not worry?

That sounds like a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ e-mail...but without seeing it, its just a guess...but I'd take another real hard look at that e-mail!

Did you check the ORIGIN of this message? Sometimes it's a scam msg
