Anyone buy gold with their stealth PayPal accounts?
 

Curious if anyone has done this with success.

I'm just brainstorming but it seems like a great way to cash out a stealth account, without linking a bank account.

Only issue I can see is if you buy gold off eBay, they would require shipment to the verified address on PayPal (which is bogus). Is it possible to find stores that offer local pickup and accept payment through PayPal?

Sounds extremely risky. In wonder of you can buy gold off a more reputable merchant. Perhaps a brokerage co. Or something , but then again, it's just a gold certificate rather than actual gold

Scam and risks with that idea.

TRUST is the big issue.

Gold and trust are not great company.

Yes. It is possible, but risky. You'll need a bank account and card attached to your Paypal account, and you put the account at high risk for a limitation unless you know what you're doing..

If you could pick it up locally, it wouldn't be very risky at all!

Just gotta figure out a way to be able to pay for something with PayPal and pick it up in person. I suppose find stores that accept PayPal and allow in store pick up. Hmmm

Your going to need to get a UPS box so you will have a street address that can be verified

For that amount of a purchase, you always need to be aware of the status of your PP...funds cleared? verified? no prior issues? Examples of info to know

I personally found a coin dealer in my town who allowed me to buy stuff from his Ebay store and pick it up from the shop instead of shipping.

He did not bother asking for my ID and check the name on Paypal but I am talking about small amount of money, few 100s euros.

I guess that for high amount of money they could get more suspicious... i guess Italy is also a different planet sometimes...

Definitely I wouldnt use all paypal accounts to do this kind of high end buying
