Paypal account just closed no reason given
 

Hi all. I tried to pay a trading partner and got a message saying there was a problem with there paypal account and that they couldnt take payments.

today have received an email from them saying paypal just closed there account. no reason given no chance of being reinstated.

My question is and I prob know the answer but how on earth can paypal do this. seem to be getting worse.

also if paypal have closed his account and say hypothetically someone opened a case up. would paypal be liable for the refund?

they closed his account so im presuming the usual terms and conditions on that wont apply

If you already know the answer, why ask the obvious?

paypal always has reasons to close accounts.

The trouble arises when the party with the closed account does not get the reasons.

PP would like go take him to collections or go dipping into bank account.
