Original long lasting paypal account limited?
 

Question:

Has anyone had their original main paypal limited or suspended for being linked to a stealth pp account?

No ebay involved.

I want to build a stealth pp account as a 'just in case'. But i am scared of jeopardizing my my main paypal account.

I have had my main original verified pp account for over 10 years with my actual info.

So, has anyone created a stealth pp that was discovered by pp and actually resulted in limiting or suspension of the main original account?

This is not a hypothetical question, because I know pp can suspend you for whatever they want whenever they want. I am wondering if anyone has personally experienced this. Again... NOT using pp for selling on ebay.

If you do things properly theres no reason for that to happen.
As long as you follow all stealth principles (i.e. new windows user account, completely different info, clean IP address etc etc) and keep everything separated theres no way for them to know both accounts are yours.
If you have ANY doubt of your ability to do that though - do NOT do it. Plenty of pitfalls that can cause a link if you don't know what youre doing.

I still have my original paypal account along with many stealth accounts. PayPal accounts get to be really strong after a couple years and are not fragile like they are when they are just formed

That is exactly right. The longer a PayPal has lasted, the stronger it is... As long as it is used regularly and not dormant for years.

To the original question, YES, PayPal CAN ban your real account that you have had for years if it gets linked to a stealth account.

My recommendation is to keep your stealth accounts COMPLETELY AWAY from your real account. Use a different computer, a different internet connection, a different address - EVERYTHING! Otherwise, it is TOO EASY to forget one day to change a user account or an IP address and BLAMMO, your original account is TOAST!

Of course, this is just my opinion. I take these things to more of an extreme than others do. But I rarely lose accounts.

Had a soft limitation after doing a transfer between accounts.

Sickening feeling.

Never done such a transfer again.

I did have a stealth account that was suspended 5 years ago, but it did not affect my main account. I dont know if I dodged the bullet because they never linked the 2 or if it was just because my main account was solid and over 5 years old and 100% verified with all my actual info.
I am ready to do a stealth.

I have.......
New windows user never logged on to paypal.
Verizon jetpack hotspot that generates different IP address.
New gmail email.
New burner phone never used.
Phone, gmail, name, area code, , zip code, and ip all match.

Still need vanilla visa and new wells fargo bank account. But I was going to wait on those to see if I even make it that far.

What am I forgetting?

How many years are we talking? The oldest I have is 1 1/2 years.. Are we talking 3-4 years?
Really interested in your responses.
