Paypal wants supplier info
 

I recently got my account limited and now paypal wants three things: SSN#, tracking #, and Fax or upload documentation (Supplier Contact Info):

"PayPal requires a copy of certain documents for verification purposes to return your account to regular standing.

Please submit each of the following documents:
- Contact information (phone number, email, etc.) for your supplier or suppliers"

Now the first two i can bypass with no problem, but the documentation might be a problem. I was selling VeRo items.

Also they want them in .jpg, .png format to upload? I thought these were documents? Can i create a tempelate with different numbers/addresses and then fax it to them? Do they actually Check and CALL these suppliers?

Sent them one.
They do not call or check.

I was asked for the same information last week. I scanned some supplier business cards and persuaded the suppliers to make me some backdated invoices. The invoices were all hand written with the company stamp not very proffesional but paypal accepted them and my account was restored. They did not ring the suppliers.

Let me us know the outcome after you supplied them with the invoices, I am in the same situation no different then yours and I am hesitant to supply bogus invoices.

They don't check, and if your acct is limited what have you got to loose. The worst is hold for 180 days.

Ok, let me ask you this: are you the idiot or are all of Modee's tech support customers? I'm certain your the idiot! As you can see by Modee's reputation he is a reliable and excellent source to fix your dilema to anything e-commerce. Now I'm thinking you are the one who is crazy saying Modee did not provide good service because HE ALWAYS PROVIDE GOOD SERVICE! Modee is kind enough to help you out for a little fee and your going all around saying he is not correct. If you thought he wasn't correct then why did you even request of his service? What is your problem man? Modee is just trying to help you!

if you have bogus name and address then whats wrong with bogus invoices? you only need to watch out if its your real info , right?

Modee is kinda like the coach... He can draw up the play for you, he just can't run it...

I would be more then happy to copy paste our entire conversations between me and him however I gave my word that I would not disclose any details of our so called transaction. I can however be unhappy with the service or tech support, I am entitled to that.

That is not true. They do call and check. Maybe not always, but that happened to me. So based on personal experience.

This was true in 2008 when the thread started.
