I know there are a lot of threads like this but still can't find the right answer. Anyway, I'm selling digital items (pc game keys, windows etc.) and I can't provide tracking number because I deliver this items on email. So, is there any way to call paypal to release money earlier?

Even if I sell something else and ship + I add tracking number still paypal holding the money too long!

How to fix that, any suggestions?

PayPal will not like the fact that you are selling digital goods. I would avoid telling them and just wait out the 21 days.

Depending on your profit margins you could post a receipt and compliments slip by tracked mail, and get a tracking number that way.

The best overall advice is james' though, you really don't want to show up too much on the radar with digital goods.

Ok, but what with other goods that are shipped? How to get that money faster?

@luka, considering that PP does NOT like digital delivery ...and you are selling digital goods...I would say that you should be happy to have just 21 day holds and not limitation of the account.

Stop giving negative reviews, plenty of companies legit big companies doing business with paypal offering only digital goods, some get by and some don't. You just have to try.

I think digital is cool but if your not shipping something the door is wide open for scammers.

You dont believe sell me something via paypal digital and I can keep the product and get my money back no problem

Yeah I believe in that, but what else do you want? Unless paypal starts face scanning every transaction just to approve the transaction, probably would happen in the future.

The answer is simple if you sell digital items ship the buyer something add the tracking and your good no issues i sell a paperclip with a 1 year hulu subscription as a free gift

Ship the paperclip and only way to get screwed now is snad and they ship it back but that does not happen often

Personally I wouldn't use PayPal for digital goods. Look into creating your own site / having your own merchant account

You hate amazon, you mean where you get 2 day shipping and a tracking number for 35 cents, yes i guess that is something to hate. You get a tracking number and 2 day delivery for less than the cost of a postage stamp
