Paypal Limited

My first post of the year and its bad news.

Just had EBay Fees rejected due to the PP account being limited.

Logged in and sure enough at the end of Dec it went down.

No email, nothing.

First one I have personally seen, after reading so much about this issue on here.

I am reasonably certain it is down to the ID submitted to lift the receiving limit.

Why?

This is my very first account that limits were lifted successfully in the middle of September through submitting ID.

There are 3 more accounts that have been successfully lifted. They were done in the subsequent months. I expect to lose them as well. If I do, I really believe it is down to the ID.

No complaints to the seller who I purchased it from BTW. No refund will be asked for. He knows who he is.

Thankfully these are young accounts. A pain in the ass, but there we go.

Currently getting my head together on how to proceed.

Thanks Paypal.

Forgot to say, yes it does say it cannot be appealed against.

Still isn't down to the ID, been having lots of DLs go through with no issues. If it really was ID, I wouldn't be having so many go through

Apologies Callidus, I don't think I made myself clear.

I agree with what you are saying.

However it is my opinion, (and only my opinion) that they are randomly scanning the ID at a later time through their fancy software.

I honestly can't come up with any other rational explanation at the moment.

I will keep this thread updated as to what happens with the other 3.

It isnt the ID. People are losing accounts where no documents have been submitted at all.

If it is not down to ID, could it be down to its batch creation?

I have created all my accounts.

I still think in my case it is the ID. Thats only an opinion.

I do believe PP have a number of dirty tricks going on at the moment, that do not depend on whether ID has been submitted or not.

I have a few plans in the pipeline where I am going to try and prove this to myself.

An article on google today: PayPal Co-Founder Elon Musk and Actress Talulah Riley Divorce for Second Time and agreed to give her $16 million as part of financial settlement.
Guess we the UK public are paying for it in waiting 180 days..:s

When the other accounts you have that have never had docs submitted on them go down as well, do update the thread.

I had one go down yesterday with no docs submitted. No email, no appeal etc. same scenario

Anyone got any ideas what could be causing this?

Since 15th November, paypal is having a purge.

Many threads on the topic exist.

New changes are in the process of being implemented.

And no, we have not established a workaround yet that will make everyone happy.

btw I hate paypal

Is this a different one to the one you mentioned yesterday?

Hi One of my accounts gone down in december. The others are fine. I think it has something to do with Entropay.

I wouldn't be so sure with that, it may not be the sole reason but it's probably one of the reasons they get looked at, along with other patterns etc.
