Paypal breaking their own policy

Here is my story:
got a message that I have violated paypal policy and some items were counterfeit or ⊗⊗⊗⊗. I asked them to give me transactions ID's because I want to know why and where is the problem, what items are ⊗⊗⊗⊗.
They sent me and I checked with the buyers. Buyers are very confused because items are correct & they work, nobody from Paypal contacted any of them!

I had 400$ and that's around 2500 Croatian kunas what is pretty much in my country. Now I can't sell nowhere anymore.

So, is it possible to complain to somebody? Paypal is breaking the law! They violate their own rules! They have NOT contacted me or the buyer about any problems with transaction, they just lie and this limitation is based on nothing. Is there any agency in US that can protect me from Paypal? Please help.

Paypal can do what they want, they are a Company, not a Bank. In the EU, You can complain to the CSSF in Luxembourg, who are supposed to regulate paypal. however, the CSSF will do nothing unless you have first taken your complaint to paypal themselves

For non EU complaints, once you have complained to paypal, Im not certain wh the correct body is, maybe someone with better knowledge than I will advise.

Re: Paypal breaking their own policy

Buyers do not decide if an item is counterfeit.

You misunderstand how this works.

Where did you buy the items and what category.... That is the basis for advice ,imo.

Their game......their rules.

They can and do change the rules anytime they wish.

Accept this, as it essential to have the correct mindset to operate good stealths.

Create your game, with your rules and be ready to adapt when required.

Paypal play dirty.....learn to play dirtier. :fight:

Well, since they don't know anything about the goods that are supposed to be ⊗⊗⊗⊗, they just can't do this. They gave me UK email so I will search for customer complaint agencies in UK and write them an email to release my money at least.

luka,

You are wrong. paypal has much more knowledge than you about goods.

What items did you sell? Where did you buy them?

I hope this is sarcasm...
it was MS Office, original & valid product.

MS do not always let their items be on sold.

Was it new or used?

New of course....

paypal really sucks, Skrill is much better but Amazon, ebay or Bonanza doesn't accept it

Re: Paypal breaking their own policy

I'm guessing you have experience with being banned on all three of those platforms and you want Skrill to help you move more unauthorized products.

When it comes to MS, you have absolutely no say, no power, no "right" to sell their products online. Your complaints will only be heard by a trashcan.

You sound surprised.
The bottom line is you agreed to their 'terms of service' which state they can do pretty much anything they want with your account and the money held within.
That's just what theyre doing now and you agreed to it when you signed up. Unfortunate but true.
