I have been using paypal since 15. Just confirm your card added to your limited account . They are not able to see that, I even had to send them my id to remove limits and I was under 18 and with a bit of creativity I had my limits lifted. Moreover another idea would be to start a new account with your own person cc so that you do not involve your mom.
