How to resolve limited paypal account
 

Hey guys, I need your opinion/ experience in solving my paypal account which has become limited due to they feel like it. To resolve my limited account the steps I must complete according to paypal are:
-confirm location
-confirm social security #
-set your credit check address

Heres a little more info- the name on this account is my business name and all that information- not my actual info because that is none of paypals business. I just need to know how to bypass or complete this steps as fast as possible considering this is the busy part of the season.

-The location I can just get confirmed with them calling my phone number on file which will be no problem

-I do not know what to do about the social security question? I don't want to give mine cause it will not match the business name and link accounts. Is there a way around this somehow.

-I have no idea what the credit check address exactly is. But I know my address listed is not registered as a business and cannot be credit checked. What can I do to bypass this process. I can generate documents but don't know how to get past this access.

i am in the same boat. Dont know what to do about the social. I think you can just fax them a made up business tax id number. I dont think they actually check it.

to do the credit check, they need ur social.
If this account is a stealth, you have no choice but to abandon it, or contact Modee for help

I actually talked to them and a person at paypal said you can use a tax id number for your business instead of the SS#. This then will be used to confirm the credit questions. I was just thinking of how complicated it would be to create a tax id number for you stealth account business name online

Interesting. I'd like to hear how this goes....Modee is great help from what I've heard but I don't think he can help much in the area of SSN#'s. Might be wrong but you can PM him for confirmation.

If they can't pull a credit history on the tax id number then it won't work. I've been down this road MANY times. But..... there are ways around it :)

If you setup an LLC for a Paypal/ebay business account, could you create a dba for a second account without being linked? If Paypal requests to verify SSN, can you provide the EIN to verify for either account? Will this also link accounts? What exactly do they verify using the EIN? Any help would be appreciated.

Hey MYC, are you saying they use your tax id number to pull info from Dunn & Bradstreet? Will you PM me with ways around it? Thanks.
