How to start 180 day countdown

I have become Paypal limited.

They want me to submit bank account information, that I do not have. Should I just submit a blank file so they close the account and the 180 day period can start? I remember reading somewhere that they countdown period does not start until the account gets fully closed by Paypal which can only happen if you attempt to resolve the problem with the account. I want to start the 180 day count down period asap so I can just release the funds into a bank account.

Thanks.

You can upload blank files but in reality it's up to Paypal when they give you the indefinite limitation.

If you want to force them, just submit an obvious phake document and they will permanently ban you.

I always waited until the paypal account no longer asked for docs and the 180 day countdown started on its own.

I don't know if a blank document would help. They might assume it was an error. If you are committed to losing this account, call them up. Say something they don't like, your account will be disabled quickly

Just photoshop an ID with obvious mistakes.

I would suggest to just let it go, it will start soon enough.

If you submit docs that are not correct they could hold your money indefinite.

Just my suggestion, I'm sure others will be along today to give you there advice.

Ok, if I just wait like you say cracker, roughly how much time should I expect? Thanks.

All I can tell you is that I had a few accounts get limited on July 26...On February 4th they funds were available for withdraw.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but from my experience I think it starts as soon as they account is limited???

I do not want to give you the wrong info so please wait for another member to confirm this.

Yeah, already noted I would be doing that. Maybe you don't understand the question.

So exactly 180 days after being first limited I will get an email saying I can withdraw money?

You dont have to upload anything, its 180 days from date of email saying your limited sometimes they let you have it sooner

Oh. Didn't know that. Basically because no mention of 180 days in the email saying I am limited. Thanks.

If all they asked for is that one piece of information, than you probably can get the account restored

I have had a couple accounts before get a limitation and just ask for one thing like a bank statement or utility bill and Id upload them and get an email 4 hours later saying "your account is now restored"

But if you really want to ditch the account just send an email saying that you do not want to provide any personal documents and wish to no longer do business with them

I used a VBA from someone on this site so I don't think its possible to obtain the statement.

The 180 day countdown starts from the date of your last received payment.
