Limited Account: Problem adding bank account, security check
 

So I have a limited PP account, that has passed 180 days and is available for withdrawal. When I go to add a bank account and I enter the details it takes me to the security check page. I get an option to receive a txt or a phone call at my number on file. The number on file was originally a google voice number. So when I try to receive a call or txt it says the number doesn't appear to be registered in my name.

So I got a T-Mobile prepaid account and registered my stealth name and address. I added the new phone number and I get the same error, it again says the number doesn't appear to be registered my name still.

not much thing you can do with bank account anymore.

Try to get your released fund by cheque :)

Yes the bank account and any other details you entered to get to that point where they did the security check are now gone, cannot be used again as would link back to this account.

Yes, similar problem was for me, but without 180 day hold, it was some of the first sales, and there was 21 day hold. And they offered to speed up this hold process:
First they asked to verify myself by phone, with my google voice nothing happened, then they decided to ask me 3 questions about nothing (like: in which of these counties You owned a property) Yeah, right, my stalth account "holder" that lives in my imagination, owned lots of real estate :) after this they asked to confirm myself with adding CC, so I bought AVS VCC, and still there was a "problem" or "error". So I gave a refund and received payment via bank transfer :)

Hey guys I recently bought an eBay/PayPal account a month or so ago I acted like a new user on ebay and looked at products etc. and I always logged into paypal and ebay with the fresh VPN form IP burger. 2 days ago I tried to add my bank account to Paypal before I starting to sell on ebay. But whenever I add a bank paypal says they Need to do a "Quick Security Check" and there were 2 options, 1. verify its you or 2. Verify your card. I wasn't sure what to do because The card on the account was a Visa Prepaid Card. I can get around the message by just changing the URL to paypal.com but whenever I try to add a Bank It gives me that message. Has anyone had this issue. Please Help!

you have to do either option 1 or option 2.

Usually security checks are of 1 or 2 reasons.

1. It's just too new of an account. and they are not comfortable with you doing things yet.

2. Your IP, i know everyone says how they have the bestest (i know its not a word) in the world residential ips etc.. or whatever, but the fact is your IP is the #1 reason paypal is suspicious of you, or your identity information doesn't match.
