Just got my PP limited. Need a new plan
 

Hello

It is a sad day I have to admit.. I got limited. I asume that is for ebay VERO, I'm selling t-shirts and some of them were removed by ebay. Got $500 frozen for 180 days, emailed PP some mins ago, maybe they could reduce time.

From what I have read already my ebay account is useless because if I link it to a new stealth PP acc it will get limited quickly again, right?

I am thinking of buying this ebook as I have read its very useful. I don't think I could set up new ebay and paypal stealth accounts all by myself.
What would You suggest me to do as most of You have already been in my situation. Should I buy the book and create like 5-10 stealth ebay and PP accounts and start selling right away? I would need many accounts because 1 t-shirt with 4 variations (sizes s m l xl) eats 4 item listing slots...

Accounts will need to be aged before they can sell. A few weeks at the very least.

If these are branded t-shirts (which is sounds like they may be) then your going to need to right holders permission otherwise you will get have Vero issues over and over again

These aren't branded. I create them myself. And yes, I will be having vero over and over again. Thats why I need many accounts

Who is taking your items down if they are not branded? What does the take down notice say? Do these items you are making yourself use trademarked logos or images?

What did your limitation on paypal say?
So we can see if it was indeed the shirts that burned you.

Did you ever get asked to supply ID?

What are you using as images?

Rock stars, brand names, like song titles or items?

Yes... Some images are copyrighted and I use them for my own risk (for example pokemons (haven't had any problems with those though)).

Limitation says:
Your account access has been limited for the following reason(s):

Mar 20, 2015: When you signed up for your PayPal account, you agreed to our User Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy. Because some of your recent transactions violated this policy, we've had to permanently limit your account.

Please remove any references to PayPal from your website.

You'll be able to withdraw any money in your account 180 days after your last transaction. We'll email you when it's ready to be withdrawn.

Yes, I had been asked to supply ID, proof of address, back office documents, utility bill. Had no problems going through.

P.S. I have just created 3 new stealths. Tried to list 1 item and got ebay message that I have to verify my PP to list. I know that I should wait at least a month before start listing but I am kind of in rush so I take a risk.

You'll be banging against the same wall over and over again. From your situation, the only way out is slightly slower.
At the moment you are not only lookis suspiscious, you are reckless.

It takes a bit time and a lot of patience. You will not be able to return to your old selling ways RIGHT AWAY.
Even if you'd BUY an account with the kinds of limits you seem to need, it'd still take some time to get the account going, the right way.


If you are in such a hurry that you are just creating, listing and expecting to sell all in 10 minute window, then you will get the same email after every 11 minutes.

Slow right the way down, that's all I'm saying. There is no quick fix for your problem.
Well, quick fix is actually relative term because for me, 3 months seems pretty quick, but for you it might seem like a lifetime and I understand that in business, we are all in different situations both financially, and stock wise.

Find new items to sell.

Your just going to have the same issue time and time again. Not worth the headache. Not to mention one of those companies may decide to take things further if you keep doing it.

I see.. I have got few more questions:
1. Can I log in to my stealth gmail accounts from wherever I want or must it be same as stealth PP and ebay?
2. Would my ebay account get banned if I linked it to a new stealth PayPal account?

1) You may login to gmail from any place.
2) You operate EB + PP as a linked system. If one part gets limited, it is useless to replace it. You need everything new. If you replace only one part, it will be suspended instantly.

It is interesting, because almost a year ago I registered business account, and started to sell some regular stuff, and after a month I tried to sell some VeRO items, like Armani t-shirt and Fred Perry shoes, and sold with no problems. But after few months I got limited anyway, they asked to provide ALL invoices for ALL items I sold from the start :)

Oh and few more questions :)
1. I use pretty simillar names to mine on stealth accounts as aspkin suggested. Isn't it risky?
2. About addresses. What cons of using existing address which I have no acess to? I am kind of out addresses at the moment.

Its fine to log in from wherever you want, but make sure images are disabled before loading any emails.

Maybe not right away, but after a few weeks it would.

Always a slight risk, but so long as your name is not very unique and all other details (DOB, address ect) are totally different then it should be fine.

Look at renting a local mail box.

Hey!

I can understand your situation. It appears that you are in desperate need for cash flow that you cant wait to get started again. Damn whatever as long as you get some cash flow to settle some bills.

Just like you, I asked many questions and tons of them but what I didn't do was started right away. It took me weeks asking questions, the silly ones, the good ones and the badies but this guys never complained, they kept giving me answers.

PLEASE dont get srated until you get your hand on the stealth guide. You have to start mint without leaving any stone unturned.

I start selling after like 5 days from acc creation. Everythings goes well until someone buys an item. The PP instantly suspends me and asks for proof of address and credit card confirmation. I am sure I create accounts stealthy way, I am using tethering function with my samsung. Can PP suspend me because of selling items too early? Got like 4 accounts suspended already.

If you take some time to read the forum and some posts in this thread alone, then surely by now you should realise that you need to slow down... Slow right the way down.
You are clearly rushing it and I'm sure along the way you are making some sort of mistakes that will link you and if you don't make any mistakes, then the timescale you are operating under is already a bit foolish.
You need to age the account, build it up and look after it as if it was a little sapling.

And that is why I am asking if some of You have had same problem - instant limitation only when the item is bought. I am trying to figure it out is it IP problem (tethering) or is it a problem because of account age. That is very simple question I am asking.

If you record you IP addresses that you have used previously then surely it's easily identifiable if it's indeed the IP that is causing you problems?
My feeling is, that's caused by number of different things that you might be doing wrong.

What us the problem in providing proof of address and CC verification? Address is just a paper that can be obtained really easy, and CC is already confirmed in every seller account. When they ask to confirm it again, it is a glitch, CC is not actually required in this case.

IP is but one of several factors that can be involved - not just IP by itself (unless...e.g. you are using heavily abused public IP)

Instant PP limitation that requires ID and address verification happens when you sell a high-risk item, in 95% of all cases. I suggest that you fully verify your PP, then sell something low-risk for a month, then start selling something a bit more risky, and only then going to high risk items. At least you will be able to sell some items without being asked for an ID, and then to cool down your acc. When you'll sell some quantities, they will ask for invoices, and then you should be creative.

You see, when they required address and card I have sent them proof of address and after some hours they requsted a bunch of papers like last 5 transaction inveoices (doesn't make sense), ID and so on.
Is non-branded t-shirt high risk item? Isnt it Eb's concern not PP's?

People in this post have warned you about the exact problem you are having, how card can it be to put two and two together? Surely by now you should realise that you will keep hitting the same wall over, and over, and over... and over, again.

The time you spend hitting that wall is wasted time, you will love an account every time if you wait 5 days or 7 days. By the time you take peoples advice on board you have wasted the exact time you'd have to wait for the accounts to be aged.

You know, people are giving you advice, you are just not listening to them.

I though 5 days is enough. The other thing is that I have already created ~10 accounts so 3 down for experimenting is nothing to me. Peace.

Actually, if you don't want to wait, just create them in hundreds. Some of them will pass the childhood for sure ;)

You may contact PP, to ask what can be done. Usually, they offer 180 to wait, so any possible customer claims can be fulfilled during this period. After that, you will be able to withdraw the money from the account.
