Question About Opening A New Paypal Account
 

I currently have a working Ebay and Paypal account, but I have to have a friend of mine "cash me out" after my Ebay sales due to my Ebay and Paypal info being different from my bank info (long story and I honestly can't even remember). I can't transfer funds from my Ebay sales to my bank because the info doesn't match. Here is my question...

If i get my wife to sign up for a new bank account and a new Paypal account (using the same name for both) and transfer my Ebay profits into that new Paypal account, then turn around and transfer the same funds into the new bank account will it work without any red flags? This new Paypal account will exist for the sole purpose of receiving funds and immediately transferring funds to the new bank account...not linked to Ebay at all. Any help would be great!

You do realize that some banks do allow for mismatch name deposits....that being said, which bank do you currently have attached to the Paypal?

Adding a new PayPal will cause issues and you will put both your Ebay and new/old Paypals at risk.

As I know, Bank of America allows name mismatch. Or am I wrong?

As long as it's money, BOA accepts. I am using them currently and have no problem.

Bank of America works fine with mis-match name deposits, should not have any problems.

Please try not to do any weird moves like the ones you suggested above, it just makes everything more complicated for yourself.

I thought PayPal doesn't see name of Bank holder, when you are adding BA to Your PP account. Am I wrong?

PP see only accounting and routing number.
