| luka1987 | 03-24-2015 07:38 AM | Strange limitation They've limited my account to check what is my business. Now, they are asking:
1. Photo ID (okay, solved)
2. To provide last 5 invoices (?!)
3. to provide proof of business existence (?!)
As far as I know, if I sell used items (in this case trading cards Yugioh!) I don't have to be registered with any kind of business, I just sell them online. My account is personal, not business and I don't know why the heck they did this.

What should I do? If I prove them I'm selling my own used trading cards, would they leave my account alone and stop causing troubles? |
| jakobrockz | 03-24-2015 07:43 AM | Re: Strange limitation Unless you can smooth talk your way out of this on the phone (Don't even know if thats possible), I think that account is toast. You must have did something major to flag your account |
| luka1987 | 03-24-2015 07:59 AM | Re: Strange limitation "Why is my account access limited?
Your account access has been limited for the following reason(s):
Mar 23, 2015: We need some more information about some of your recent sales." Any email where I can contact them? |
| oompaloompa | 03-24-2015 08:23 AM | Re: Strange limitation they are just generic questions, you can provide invoices, anyone can do that, even for used items....eg. they were bought at markets or charity shops, and provide proofs....and then business existence, is that you are just sole trader.....or do you have a business name on there? |
| luka1987 | 03-24-2015 08:26 AM | Re: Strange limitation Seriously, what invoices can I provide this cards are old for 2-3 years what can I do now about that?! Altough I ordered them for my son from some websites I deleted long time ago order details.....
of course I don't have business as my account is not business account and I even don't understand them because I'm only selling as a freelancer on some markets.. |
| oompaloompa | 03-24-2015 08:35 AM | Re: Strange limitation so it is just 1 set of cards and no other used goods.....In that case just say so, that you hve no proofs on paper....
I got some of these years ago, not recently, as I used to sell my own used goods to start off accs and for feedback, and I just said they were my own goods and they were ok about it. |
| luka1987 | 03-24-2015 08:37 AM | Re: Strange limitation I wrote to them and even made a photos of this cards.
Do you have maybe email that I can contact directly? |
| oompaloompa | 03-24-2015 08:46 AM | Re: Strange limitation so you have given them everything and are just waiting on a reply? just ask them for a direct email, tell them you have having trouble uploading photos to the system.....
sometimes they have no intention of reinstating you, they just ask for stuff, and never reply, but to me, this seems like a routine check and generic questions, that might not even relate to you, but a reviewer should be happy with you saying they are your own goods, pic of it in your hand etc...... |
| luka1987 | 03-24-2015 08:53 AM | Re: Strange limitation Hopefully, they will resolve this for me. Thank you for your help |
Re: Strange limitation All the best luka1987 - which pp platform you using... .com? |
| damionjm | 03-24-2015 01:29 PM | Re: Strange limitation based on my experience i think that account will be permanently limited |
| luka1987 | 03-25-2015 09:35 AM | Re: Strange limitation After they accepted that I'm selling yugioh cards, they are asking proofs of shipping & delivery. What would be the proofs?! What should I show to them? On my receipt of course it's not written what is in the package...
please help |
| colfor | 03-25-2015 11:21 AM | Re: Strange limitation Soooo..........provide them with your proof as they ask |
| oompaloompa | 03-25-2015 12:06 PM | Re: Strange limitation of course the product is not written on shipping receipt, they just want the shipping receipt....you are making this over-complicated........ |
| luka1987 | 03-25-2015 04:46 PM | Re: Strange limitation Okay so just this paper will be ok with them? |

Okay so just this paper will be ok with them? | If you sent the items via a tracked service then the tracking number would be enough
If not they will want the receipts for the postage as proofs. |
Re: Strange limitation Of course PP could still deny your appeal even after you submit documentation - be aware of that...always a chance |

Well, if I got this right, they said nothing about selling trading cards, they just said that they want proof of shipping/delivery
Still no answer from them.. |
Re: Strange limitation Right but PP has been known to block accounts completely even when all information requested has been submitted | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:49 PM. | |
